Located at 14 Langdon Street, in Montpelier, Vermont, McGillicuddy’s Irish Pub was founded in 1996 in the space formerly occupied by the D.W. Edison Press. The letterpress had operated here since 1902 and was considered Montpelier’s longest running family business.
McGillicuddy’s became the third tenant to occupy this space in the last century (there was an apothecary briefly before the press). Many of the original features have been restored including cabinetry, hardwood floors and lighting.
Designed to capture the old time pub atmosphere, McGillicuddy’s offers quality fare in a relaxed setting. Eight large screen TVs and satellite reception make it the place to watch your favorite sporting events.
